"One More Chapter Candle Company combines my love of books with a passion for creating clean burning candles that are safe for you and the environment. I started making candles, because I love burning a candle while reading, but found many commercially available candles gave me headaches and were full of toxic oils, and petroleum based waxes.
I hand-pour each candle using 100% soy wax, cotton wicks, and clean, non-toxic fragrance oils.

Known for its clean and long-lasting burn, soy wax creates a healthier environment by producing minimal soot. Its slow-burning nature ensures your candles last longer, offering great value and enjoyment.
You might notice a faint frosting or a white, frosty appearance on the wax surface—this is a natural characteristic of soy wax and doesn’t affect the quality or performance of the candle. Additionally, soy wax can sometimes display the "cauliflower effect," which appears as textured patterns on the surface of the wax. This unique characteristic highlights its natural origin and doesn’t compromise the candle’s burn or scent throw. In the case of soy wax candles, imperfections can be a good thing!
With proper care, such as trimming the wick and allowing the wax to melt evenly during each burn, soy wax candles provide a consistent and beautiful burn that enhances any cozy space. Remember to follow all safety guidelines when burning your candle!
When can I expect my candle to arrive?
As a one-person business, I personally handcraft and ship each candle with care and attention to detail. I aim to ship your order within 3-5 business days, so your candle will hopefully arrive within 2-3 weeks, depending on your location and the shipping carrier.
If an item is sold out, please know that it takes 2 weeks to hand-pour and cure each candle for maximum quality. I will restock as quickly as possible, so if something you love is unavailable, check back in about 2 weeks. Your patience and support mean the world to me as I work to create candles you’ll enjoy!
What is your return and refund policy?
As a one-person business, I’m unable to offer returns or refunds at this time. However, your satisfaction is my top priority! If your product arrives damaged please don’t hesitate to reach out to me at info@omccandleco.com with a photo of the damage and I’ll be happy to send you a replacement candle.
